Generative engine optimization

Your buyers are starting inside an AI now. They ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Copilot which vendor to pick, and the model answers with two or three names. If yours is not one of them, the shortlist closed before you knew it opened.

GEO is the work of being in that answer. Not ranking a page, but being the source the model cites and the brand it recommends. It is a different game from SEO. Search engines rank ten blue links; AI engines write one answer and name a few sources. The signals that earn a citation are not the same signals that earn a ranking.

We run GEO as a quarterly retainer, because that is the only honest way to run it. AI-answer visibility lags. Content freshness decays in weeks. Every model update reshuffles who gets cited. Off-page authority compounds slowly. A one-time fix shows up as a one-time blip and fades. A quarter is long enough to cover a model-update cycle and short enough to catch the drift and re-prioritize.

A one-time GEO Baseline Audit is the entry point, and the first thing we deliver inside the retainer.

How GEO works as a quarterly service

It starts with a baseline. We build a set of 30 to 40 questions your buyers would actually ask an AI, then run them across every engine that matters to you: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot. If your buyers are in Korea, we cover Naver AI Briefing too. We record who gets cited, where you are absent, and how far behind the leader you sit. Without a before, there is nothing to measure against.

Then every quarter we run one cycle. Re-audit, generate a prioritized task list, ship a bounded pack of fixes, and report what moved. The fixes sit in three layers.

Content, written the way the research says earns citations. The Princeton GEO study found that adding specific statistics, quotable lines, and sourced claims lifts citation visibility by 30 to 40% in controlled tests. We write to that, per platform, and keep it fresh on a cycle.

Entity authority. The schema and knowledge-graph signals that let a model confidently resolve who you are. A brand the engine can identify as a clean entity gets cited; a brand it cannot resolve gets skipped.

Technical and agentic readiness. Making sure the AI crawlers can actually read your pages, and that an AI browsing agent can complete a task on your site, not just describe it.

Tier What it covers Cadence Price
GEO Baseline Audit Every engine relevant to you One-time, credited to quarter one $4,000
GEO retainer ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot Per quarter $6,000
Naver add-on Korean (Naver AI Briefing), if you sell in Korea Per quarter +$3,000
Agentic add-on WebMCP task readiness Per quarter +$3,000

The audit fee is credited toward your first quarter if you start the retainer within thirty days. Quarterly retainers run one quarter at a time after that, with thirty days' notice to stop.

What you get each quarter

A re-audit across every engine, dated, so you can see the drift since last quarter and since baseline. A prioritized task list, ordered by expected impact on citations, not by what is easy. A fix pack we actually build: schema, technical fixes, the content passes, the Naver-side work if you have added that, and the WebMCP layer if you have added the agentic option. A quarterly report walked on a call, with the next quarter's plan attached.

GEO needs content you own. We draft the optimized passages, the question-and-answer blocks, and the comparison pages; you review, approve, and publish. Tasks waiting on your content or your sign-off are flagged separately and never hold up the rest of the cycle.

The KPIs we report

We report measured change, never a guarantee. Each quarter you see your citation rate per engine, your share of voice against named competitors, how many previously-lost questions now cite you, how many engines mention you at all, and where in the answer you land when you are named. Alongside those we track the leading indicators: schema and entity health, content-freshness coverage, and, on the agentic option, whether an AI agent can complete your priority tasks.

What we will not do is promise a number. AI answers are non-deterministic and shift with every model update. We benchmark your baseline, improve the signals the engines reward, and tell you plainly what moved, up or down. A model update can erase visibility overnight, and you should hear that from us first, not discover it yourself.

What we won't do

We hold a few lines hard.

We do not guarantee citations or rankings. We improve the likelihood and report the measured delta. Anyone promising guaranteed AI citations is selling something that cannot be delivered.

We do not sell llms.txt as a silver bullet. In 2026 the major AI crawlers barely read it. We will ship one if you want it, and tell you the truth about what it does and does not do.

We do not manufacture reviews, citations, or community posts, on Naver or anywhere. Bought signals are a de-ranking and reputation risk, not a shortcut.

We do not optimize regulated or safety-critical claims without your own compliance sign-off. We structure the page; you own the claim.

Why CCLEMANG for GEO

We build what we recommend. The schema, the renderable pages, the content, and the WebMCP markup that lets an AI agent finish a task on your site are all things our web and content pipeline already ships. The fix pack is not a slide deck of advice. It is work we hand back done.

We run all five major answer engines, not just the two everyone watches. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot each cite different sources and reward different signals, so we optimize for each one instead of treating them as interchangeable. And if your buyers are in Korea, we cover Naver AI Briefing too.
